Default Looks or Speed? Thats the question!

Ok guys,

Keep in mind, im more of a show person than a go person. I mean I will hit an occassional 120 on the highway, but thats about it. I definately dont race on the street and from what i've heard from a few different people, if im looking to mod a car to make it fast I bought the wrong car.

So what do I do? SLam the car with a kit and rims no veilside, I dont want it to look like a rice burner... Or.. Do I go for super charger?

the question you need to ask yourself is: are you happy or content with the performance of the car as is? If so, then go cosmetic. if not, then obviously go with performance. There are some minor mods you can do performance-wise. CAI, Exhaust, suspension which is both performance and looks. If you go performance later, and looks now, you have to take that into account when getting the cosmetic mods. ie. light weight on exhaust, light weight wheels. I am also a 50-50 person in a different respect.

I went looks (keeping performance in mind) while doing minor performance, since i think the car has plenty of performance. You are not a racer so major performance wouldn't make much sense.

Bottom line: The car already is a great performer, why not spice up the looks as you see fit? Some people like the car's performance and looks directly from the factory, so they change nothing, heh.

Are you kidding? A supercharger no doubt. Looks are lame IMO. Go with the stealth mode by staying stock and adding the FI. You will get many more smiles as a result of that then you would with some body kit and drop.

like you said honda606, it's all about opinions...what he wants. He obviously likes looks too. i think you should just do both as they come. Price dictates a lot of it I think.

You want looks? Go for the rims and whatever else you want. If you never race the car, what's the point of putting in a supercharger??
