That is strange, I guess they changed the pads because on my '03 the brake dust is very little at all, but I can feel your pain with the brake dust. My old E46 would turn my wheels black after driving the car down the block.

I have the 00-03 pads on my 05 so YES THEY DO FIT!
The price for a set is the same as they are for the 04-05 pads if not slightly less. I love em for their low brake dust factor.

Honda must have changed the type of brake pads for your model year of car. On my 2000, I have very little brake dust. Wonder if you could retrofit '00 pads onto your '05 cars?
I did this two weeks ago as suggested by many other board members. I can't tell a difference in performance, but the wheels are CLEAN.

I guess "newer" isn't always "better".

I solved my problem of squeaky, dusty brakes by getting a louder exhaust and powdercoating my wheels black.

My old AP1 had very low dust from the pads. My AP2 however, has a rediculous amount. I am glad to hear AP1 pads fit. I will have to get a set.

Worse than AP2...they claim "low dust", but I guess that's the power of comparison. When comparing them with other performance pads they're probably good. Best to stay away.

The 2004+ pads are more fade resistant, but also dust more. It's a common tradeoff.
