i really want to lower my ap1 but my friend keeps telling me i should keep it at a stock height because if i lower it then im gonna have camber problems to worry about and all the other crap. but i just want to do springs so is it ok to lower ap1's? is it safe? has any one had problems in here with lowering their ap1 before just with springs? and what kind of springs would u recommend? i was thinking of like skunk 2

its ok to lower the car
just wait for them to settle in then get an alignment
keep in mind that with lowering springs your shock absorbers wear out alot faster
if they do get wear out, get some konis...or upgrade to some coilovers
i recommend getting KG/MM progressive springs with some koni shocks
if you have the money go for some buddy club coilovers
goodluck

You will NOT be able to get back to factory camber settings. You will be running a more aggressive alignment setting. (At least in the rear.) You should be able to get a closer to stock setting on the front.

You will get better handling, but you will go through tires a little faster and, as mentioned, the OEM shocks will not hold up as long. You are also adding some stress to the rear axle shafts.

Lowered on Espelier springs only:

KG/MM's will drop the car lower than the Espelir's. I beleive the Espelir's have a 1.3" drop. KG/MM will go as low as 2.0" maybe more?

The Espeiliers are about as low as you can get with just springs. It was nearly 2" all around. I think on my car it was 1 3/4", but on another local member's car it was MUCH closer to 2" all around.
