thanks guys. Ordered a set of Espelir's - $186 to my door.

Looked at the Koni Yellows, but with new wheels and tires next on the list, I'm gonna be a cheap ass and stick with the stock shocks until I feel them deteriorate...... then go through the process again - figure the 2nd time around will go 50% faster than the first time around.

Planning on a few track days this year (if anyone from the Mid Atlantic area has done one of these at Summit Point, WV, drop me a PM or e-mail); I've done loads of them on my track bike ('04 Yammy R1), but not in a 4 wheeled 'cage'. I learned more from a few track days than years of street riding.

thanks again,
Mark

I bought a set of Tein S techs off of ebay and the car rides like it did with the stock springs except it's flatter in the corners. When I installed them the car had 72k on it and i've put about 20k on them so far on the stock shocks. Still rides and handles gr8 !

a number of us will be at SP this upcoming season, I would keep on checking the Mid-A track whores thread for more details.

when u guys say the ride is almost like stock, do you mean it's stiffer or softer? I'm assuming if you're going for performance, you do not want it to be softer than stock making the mod "pointless" aside from asthetics. i'm also looking for springs and torn between tein (which is a reputable company) and espelir (i may be a noob, but this site is where i first heard of this brand) just like the other post... I figured coilovers won't be necessary on my s2000 since i don't have to raise it during winter like i did with my civic.

I find that Espelirs are a bit stiffer than stock, overall the ride feels stock, which is good since the S stock handling is great anyways. That was my first impressions, hopefully someone will chime in whos had them on for longer than 3 days

He has the 04-up bumper and headlights, so I thought it was newer.
