Lowering Springs

haha...yeah, I just noticed I put ted, not terd. Sorry! OK, I will have to cut the bumpstops soon. How much is involved in that? Do i need to take the springs out again to do it, or can I do it with the car jacked up, and the wheels off?

If you reinstalled that rubber dust shield, you'll have to take it all apart again. If you left it off, you may be able to get by with just removing your wheels. I'm not sure though. Take it all apart gets my vote. It's more fun and doesn't take that long. If you're not bottoming out and hitting the bumpstops, I wouldn't do anything. According to RSR, these springs are designed to work with the stock bumpstops.

any pics with the rsr ti2000 installed? i wanna see the gap if its almost same as eibach. would it be possible to install the rear spring to the front and front to back? thanks

I have installed springs without a compressor, but it wasn't easy. Took two people, including one very large man to apply pressure.

I have 225/40r18 front
and 255/35r18 rear on
VOLK LE 37T GUNMETAL

I want to put Eiback ProKit Springs
to drop the S for about 1 inches I think

I have a chance to rubbing with these
size of tire

One question that i have is that is it a good idea to install springs on these cars. cause i dont want to mess up the shocks of the car. and i was wonfering if by installing springs how long would it take if any to blow out the stock shocks... ?

Depends on your driving style.
Stock shocks are not meant to work with lowering springs.
Get a good set of coilovers.!!!

how many ppl got their s2 aligned after drop? Also what is average price for alignment these days??
