Lowering springs and stock shocks?
How robust are the stock shocks? I am thinking about lowering the car with Eibach springs. Will the stock shocks will wear out fast with the lowering springs?
Also, will the handling characteristics of the S be off after the lowering even if the alignment is good?

from what I've read, as long as you go with progressive springs, you will be ok. You will blow the shocks eventually, but not as fast as if you went with non-progressive springs.
lowering the car should give you better handling, but I've read some stuff about watching out for oversteer with the rear being too low?? might wanna check that out.
