Lowering Springs Vs. Coilovers
Lowering Springs vs. Coilovers -
Which will give the best ride quality for everyday driving. Does anyone have experience with Eibach or Comptech adjustable springs?
I would like to lower my car 1", but don't want the ride to get too harsh....

the general concensus (and perhaps fact) is to go coilovers if you have the dinero. I have comptech adjustable springs on mine and love them. But I am riding on stock shocks. I am going to do it "right" when i have the money and go full coilover set.
it really depends on your money situation and what you care more about.

a coil "over" a shock or strut. They come together as a matched set, whereas buying, say, an eibach spring and a koni, would come close to having specs that would compliment each other, but not as good as a coilover, where when you would like to adjust the harshneess or height of the car, you would still retain the same properties of spring rates and dampening force. I try.
