My next S2000 will be [lower] mileage than this one. I'm getting a new '04 in the spring time, and plan to probably keep my beater I'm buying once the current S2000 sells.

I'll still drive the new one year-round, but only on "dry" days.

As of now my current one racks up about 1800 miles a month. My new one will probably barely see a third of that.

That's like buying a million dollar house, then sleeping in the garage because you don't want to dirty up the carpet.
A Ferrari is an entirely different beast. 20,000 miles on that Testarossa would probably be considered "high-mileage."

MY-00 Purchased Oct 2003 with 3,500. Currently 5,200.

When I found this car, it had never been driven in the rain, nor washed, nor had the top down.

The original owner drove it off the truck at the dealer, and was the only driver in four years.

I'm pretty close with NDAZONE.

MY00, purchased in Feb. '00 (not by me though), purchased by me in mid Aug. 2003 @ 12,500mi.. Now has 15,200mi on the clock.

I put a quater of the miles on her in 4 months, which it took the previous owner 4 years.

I love driving my S2000. I couldn't imagine not driving this car every week. I have so many memories in it. Besides, I want to drive the car while it's new and exciting. The car will never be a real classic, so you might as well get the props while it's new. I remember when the Miata's first came out back in 1990. I was in awe with everyone that I saw. But now when I see a 1990 Miata, I'm like, ha ha ha, you are a loser, your car is a piece of prehistoric crap! So before my car becomes a piece of prehistoric crap, I want to pick up as many chicks as I can in it.
