LS swappers
Ok so I'm selling/trading my S2K to get a newer daily (and getting rid of Civic) BUT on the chance it doesnt happen by a certain date, I will keep the cars status quo. and the S2K will go LS swap.
So what have you done your LS swap for($$$), and how does it compare overall to stock?

I went from Vortec S/C to LS1. I just got my car back a month ago. I didn't have to spend a whole ton because I sold my low mileage motor, trans, header, Vortec kit, motor mounts, etc. Every shop is going to give you a different price. Also, doing it on your own would obviously make it cheaper.
As far as results? I would do it again in a heartbeat. I don't have to wait for vtec. Power is everywhere yet extremely manageable. The sound is phenomenal, nothing beats the rumble of a V8. I can't compare to stock because I bought the car with the Vortec kit installed. However, it even shines brightly when compared to that. I made 330hp/219tq with the Vortec kit. I have yet to dyno the LS but I would assume at least 100lbs tq increase and a few ponies too. You feel it, oh boy do you feel it.
I hope this helps your decision.
