Getting ready for class today, I let the S warm up for 10 or so minutes. I hop into the S and let first gear ride for about 5 minutes in my twisty neighborhood. As soon as I get to main street, I engaged vtec during a wide turn on 1st gear. It was still dark out *5am* and I suddenly felt the car slightly drift to the left and right. Very slightly.... if this car didn't have LSD from factory I would have ate the center divider. I looked at my rear view mirror and noticed that the road was damp from sprinklers.

I'm use to taking that road with my wrx. Feeling the LSD work really made me happy that I own a wonderful creation. =]

 

What makes you certain the extra traction for the lsd is what saved you? Would you not have been better to bleed off the power you were putting down?

 

i dont think the OP knows what the f@#k hes talking about...letting a car warm up for 10 minutes in the summer time, riding 1st gear for 5 minutes, then being able to "feel" the LSD "save" him...dude, sell the car to someone who's not an idiot

Ugh, no. The LSD is what made the car slide in the first place... If you had an open diff it would've just been a one tire fire and no sliding.

Unless OP is moron and has LSD and VSA confused.

 

LSD makes it worse, if it was an open rear you'd of probably never felt a thing. Drive it better and you'll have it longer.

well its kinda hard to say anything nice when you post stupid shit like you did...it pisses me off when people who clearly dont deserve this car do stupid shit in it...this car deserves a better caliber of driver instead of all the civic kids who can now afford them...youre just another guy who's going to ruin a beautiful machine and its sad
