Default Lug nuts

Someone stoled my stock lug nutts after going to bigger sized rims and tuner lugs, probably friends of my bro but it's gone. Anyhow, why are the oem lug nutts so damn expensive? Had to swap my stock rims/tires back on due to tire wear on my aftermarket ones, had to pick up a set of universal Checker auto store type with locking nutts for $30 bucks. Around $90-$100.00 for 20 stockers? OUCH!!!

I just going to go ahead and assume English isn't your first language, and leave all jokes aside.

The bottom line is that the stock lug nuts are expensive simply because they CAN charge that much. Everything OEM is expensive if you haven't noticed. Unfortuately if you want the real thing, you'll have to pony up the money for it.

That's funny b/c you left out the 'm in the first word of your sentence

Back on topic though...don't want this to become another grammar thread

Haha, I guess I should double-check my own work before I comment on someone else's.

I have rays lug nuts on my type-s in which I paid $100 for. As said before OEM parts are extremely expensive mostly becasue they can charge that much and people pay that because they know the parts are some of the better parts on the market.

Keep your parts in places where you are sure nobody would touch them. I had my hardtop in my garage them moved it in my living room after I caught some people in my garage looking at it.

OEM parts are just overpriced. The OEM seats on the S2000, for example, cost over 4,000 US dollars each! You can get two nice BRIDE or Recaro seats for that price.

On a personal note -- I know I'm beating a dead horse -- you may want to spend a minute proof-reading your posts before clicking the "Submit" button in the future ... let's just say your post was a little confusing or difficult to read at first.

(Not to mention having proper spelling helps the search function to work properly)

That's a great idea but then that means that I'll have to move my S into my living room, my idiot bro always have friends over the house and they all almost always find their ways into the garage. Most of 'em are civic/teggy owners, they're young kids so I'll let them keep what they'd just took. I can pic it, one of the kids telling his other friend "I got this and that, I even got S2000 lug nuts" like it adds hp. I know it's either a civic or teggy due to that they'd lefted me 4 spare ones, go figure.
