This is a Top Gear (old) review of cars for 2005, Overall winner out of 159 cars: S2K!

that is pretty good considering Top Gear is so ethnocentric. They drool over any Euro car, ho hum on Japanese cars, and absolutely dislike American cars. Great showing for the s2000!

Actually, Top Gear, having bias on taste, isn't all too ethnocentric. They do despise quite a few American made cars but there are also a few European cars they equally despise. And on the other hand, although they'll willingly tell you which Japanese cars they hate, they'll also simply drool over the ones they love.

Take for instance the latest comparison between the Nissan 370z and the New BMW Z4. The Nissan won flat out in all their judgment between the two. Although Jeremy liked the BMW, he said basically that (jokingly) in every way, the Nissan was a better car.

Also, they love the NSX-R. Simply put, I think they like most Honda's that hit their shores.

So, all in all, Top Gear just likes what they like. Regardless of where its from. Oh, yeah... and if I'm not mistaken, they favor the C6.

Jeremy always loved the S2K in both TG and in his yearly DVDs, but they often bag Asian cars for lacking the "soul" that European cars have.

Does anyone know how long a delay there is between a Top gear European airing until it comes to BBC America? I saw Schumacher run a FXX on line but I never saw it aired on BBC A.
