Default From M3 to S2000.. need sugestion for a coilover

My last s2k was MK 2000 red.
Last year, I traded in my s2k for a more torquy BMW M3.
Yes. the M3 is a very very good car... But. I've decided to go back to MK05 s2k becauase it lacked some... thing.. very... important.

I had spoon coilvers and the x-brace and spoon stabilizer sets for occasional track use and was very satisfied.

Now, I'm going back to s2k, I wanted to go back to my old setting only to find that
spoon does not have the coilovers that I use to used to use for my MK00.

So...

my question is this.

What coilovers do you recommend for occational track use.
I'm considerding comtech x-brace, stabilizers and rear brace.

May be I'll just use the comptech lowering spring.

Any suggestions?

turboelan, I went thru the M3 to S2K thing. I gave my sister my M3 03' (she took over payments) during my divorce. Instead of going back to it, I went with an S2.

I'm still stock, but I'd agree with Emil. Those are great coilovers for occational track use.
I'm looking at the Ohlins for my next setup.

I recently traded my 02' M3 for an 04' S2 also, and I love the way the S2 handle as compare to my old M3 and Mini Cooper S.

The Flex aren't comparable to what he wants... if anything more like the RA from Tein.

I had Tein CS's for quite some time, wasn't really that impressed. This past week I installed a set of Buddy Club Race Specs - put about 100 miles on them so far & everything feels nice!
A local member who tracks his vehicle says he has had Buddy Clubs and had the GC/Koni Setup. He stated for tracking he would recommend the GC/Koni Setup.

Depends upon price range you're looking at. Under $3K there's probably no better coil than the KW V3. Above $3K you have a bunch of other options.
