Found this on their website....Magnaflow for the S2K. Just wondering if anyone has heard it. I'm not a racer...street driven car...want a nice deep sound and not overly obnoxious while standing on it. They don't have a sound bite on the web....Thanks

 

I have a magnaflow on my bimmer and I like it.
v8 compared to 4 cyl is different but the sound is a nice rumble at idle and has nice upper tone.
I was planing on using magnaflow for my race car I just have not gotten around to it yet.

 

I had Magnaflow on my AP1 when I had it. It was nice. Deep and melodic... I probably would have installed on my MY06, but piping is different for the newest cars. You would probably like it. It really wasn't too loud.

 

i have the turbo mafia set up with magnaflows........SOUNDS AWESOME!!!!! at idle.....you dont know i'm there.....but when i get on it... BLAH! kinda loud....if you get the exhaust.......Go turbo mafia...BUT opt for 2 resonators.....anything less..would be uncivilized..trust me on that... but you'll love the sound.

 

Magnaflow is the muffler used on the Spugen system.
I have a Spugen Stainless Steel, Oval Mufflers with Oval Tips, and I just love the sound.

 

I have found very limited information on this catback system, it shows a 5 hp gain on the site and 5 tq. I am very close to purchasing this exhaust however I noticed it uses exhaust clamps which I think looks kinda cheap compared to the other systems. I am mostly intrested in weather this sytem is loud like invidia or just louder than OEM exhaust. Maybe I will give it a go and post some feed back. I am getting HTG 4.77 and a FIPK which I have already ordered. I wanted to check the sound out first then I will probably get this system or the T1r 70 r Sparrow dual.

 

I have a brand new Magnaflow cat-back, unused, that I'll sell for $550 plus shipping. I paid $650 for it. It won't fit around my trailer hitch so when I got it, I was out of luck when I tried to mount it. The eBay vendor would not take it back because the box was open. PM me if interested.

I would say it doesn't quite have the same quality of finish as some of the exotic JDM stuff - but at half, or one third, of the cost, it starts to look pretty good. Stainless throughout. The install is very easy too, the fitiment of the joints is very nicely done.

 

I have the 70r sparrow dual and love it.

But ive heard the magnaflow and it sounds pretty nice. I dont have any experience with it though.

 

i have the magnaflow. not sure if mine is funky, but it's LOUD. i've never heard an invidia, but i've been to a few meets, and my car was by far the loudest there.

(i have the comptech intake too, on a side note.)

it sets off car alarms in garages all the time.

personally, i love it, but my car is a garage queen. for a DD, i would want to shoot myself.

Do you have a resonator also. I've heard that makes a huge difference. Without...loud, loud, loud.
