I had a Magnaflow Ti single exit (JIC replica) and it did drone some, not as bad as Invidia though. I would not recommend this Magnaflow exhaust though due to the issues with the resonator that they never seemed to have fixed (IMO it was the reason they discontinued it in the 1st place)

I have heard their SS systems and they sound really good I am just not a big fan of the tips they use.

I have to agree with Ti system. They dropped that a few years back. I have the SS system. In fact, I love the tips. So I guess that is a personal choice.

One of my friends recently had an exhaust fabricated that included Magnaflow mufflers and 3 inch piping from the cat. His did not have a resonator and was extremely loud and had horrible droning. Lets put it this way - he has previously owned an Invida, but could only tolerate the Magnaflow for 2 days.
are you talking about tyler?

If you've ever heard a Comptech exhaust then you've also heard the Magnaflow

Well yes and no. The CT does not have a "dead" pipe to tune the sound and kill the drone

with my old f20 it droned and had a raspy tone, but with an f22 the drone is almost nonexistent and the raspy sound is gone. so i would highly recommend it for an ap2. it sounds very similar to a t1r 63mm single. IMO

Magnaflow has been doing exhausts for forever. They know their stuff and make excellent sounding exhausts.

As mentioned above however I would only ever consider a stainless steel one from them as that is what they have always worked with and skip an Ti stuff they make. Also stick to full exhausts from them, although their mufflers are good quality, depending on the piping you put them on can make a big difference in the sound.

any other members have the SS, dual exit cat-back? would love to hear more input and see more photos...
I have their cat-back on my EP3 and love it--- has dual-tips like OEM, IMO a deep tone (though the EP3 forum's opinion tends to be that it is loud, I dig it a good bit and it doesn't seem too over-the-top for me)

Sending my best,
T
