"maint. req." light

Default "maint. req." light

does anyone know how to shut off the maint. req. light? i have 27k miles and the light came on, i took it in at 20k miles, why is did it come on again already?

If you have an owners manual it tells you in there how to do it. I just did mine it started flashing at 6k miles. Off the top of my head I believe you put the key on lock and then hold the trip reset down while turning your ign. key to on.

To reset the Maint Req light, turn the ignition switch to LOCK. Press and hold the trip meter reset button and turn the ignition to the ON position. Continue holding the trip button until the Maint Req light turns off. Done

Yeah my light is on too, tried resetting it w/the owners manual, but maybe i am just too dumb or something.

does it reset the trip meter as well?

my Trip A keeps track of miles between fill-ups, so I guess I can just do this the next time I'm at the fuel pump if it does... (or switch to Trip B)
