actually in the group buy section you can but the lower seat rails which lowers the seat 20mm

That's your best bet or buy an aftermarket seat.

If you haven't read this thread yet I suggest it. It is about modifications to the stocks rails and seat to lower driver height by a good bit.

I'm 5'9 and I barely fit. This car is ideal for someone who is 5'7 - 5'8. When I brake, blip and downshift, unless I am braking really hard, my knee hit's the steering wheel.
I find this strange as I am 5'11" and have yet to hit my knees on the wheel. I'm not saying I don't believe you, but I though that the seat rails were even lowered for the '02-'03 model? (may have just been a rumor)

I am a skinny 6'4". We are talking 170lbs. less than 6% body fat (apparently those little measuring doo-dads can't go below 6% or so which led to an ongoing joke about my skinniness). Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I have NO problems fitting in the car. I will say that I am at the absolute limit for this car, one inch taller and I think you would be SOL. I will be getting seats hopefully in the near future that should give me some more head room which I am definitely lacking at the moment. Looking at the VIOS III....

I'm just above 6" tall and 195-200 pounds. Never had it happend to bang my knees agains the steering wheel but I recommend the Mugen S1-R seat and rails, never sat in one but I will have one in January.

At least buy new rails like said above.

Do you brake, blip and downshift simultaneously?

Wow, I never thought about that. What would be the point of having a sensor in the drivers seat. LOL.
because the sensors can tell how close the seat is to the steering wheel, and it will adjust the deploy force.

and yeah, 6'0", 235 lbs, fit just right!

One of these day's I'll purchase an aftermarket seat that sit's about two inches lower than my stock seat. That would be absolutely perfect for me. Not only would my leg easily clear the steering wheel, I would have a different visual perspective of the road, my plane of vision would be closer to the road

There is a thread somewhere that shows how to take off about an inch, maybe an inch and 1/2, but I dun't know where it is right now. If nobdy chimes in by tomorrow, I may look for it.

Peace brotha.
I'm shocked you don't fit at 5'9, I'm at 5'11 and I think i'm fine. No matter how hard I drive I never hit the stering column or fel cramped, with both my stock and aftermarket seats.
