Ugh. The S2K is ruined for me when I hear the tin can full of bees sound. Sounds like every other civic and ricey neon on the road. Tasteful exhaust FTW.

If you have not heard of res removed exhaust, then stfu and stop giving wrong information. S2k exhaust with a straight pipe replacing the resonator sounds deeper with more growl.

It sounds raspy ONLY when you have resonator removed AND adding a testpipe.

Get a clue.

Agreed, I love the way it sounds with the resonator removed.

I've heard the CR in person. It's barely different.

Get your resonator hacked out and be done with it.

How many exhaust threads do we need?

At least 16 a day or it feels like somethings missing.

It must depend on what they replace it with. I'm running a 2.5" straight pipe from cat to Y and it no way sounds like that. It's a growl at lower RPMs and like a Nissan VQ at WOT.

Maybe the pipe diameter was too small on the gangbang?
sounds hot...got a vid?

No resonator and TP= typical ricey honda sound. Either TP or the removed resonator will yield in a slightly deeper exhaust note. Not both. So for around $80, just get a 63mm TP to mate to your stock exhaust.

CR exhaust sounds awesome and distinctively different than stock during periods or RPM transitions, between gears, at WOT, when coming to rest. Just hearing the exhaust at idle does not do it justice, you have to drive the CR to get the CR experience. M2C.

I agree driving the CR is a different experience compared to a stock AP2, but most of the stuff you're talking about (esp. exhaust) is a placebo effect.

Like driving my car after a good car wash make it feel faster.
