Smile Mant. Light On

I just got my 2002 AP1 a couple weeks ago. The car was in perfect shape it was running like a top. Me being the picky person I am took the car to my local Honda dealership to have them perform an early mantience check. I got the car back and parked it at home since its been raining pretty bad here.

I took the car out today and on the way home my mantience light clicked on! Since its Sat. I took the car to Autozone to get the code pulled and we couldnt find the ECU port. Would someone please tell me what the hell it is at,

You don't need to use the scanner to discharge the maint. req light..it's in your manual..just hold in the trip button while u turn the key to acc.. and it will blink off..and reset itself..it's just a pre-set thing that comes on from time to time...supposedly for oil changes etc.. the check engine light is what u need the ecu port for...

The dealership probably forgot to reset the maintenance light after they performed the service. It's no big deal and easy to reset yourself.

You'll be fine, the ECU port is near the gas pedal on the sidewall.

No. They are two completely different things. One is just a milage counter, the other means you have a problem/ And if it's flashing DON'T DRIVE THE CAR!!!!!
