Arrow Mantience Light

How times does your mantience light flash when you start the car? I think mine might flash a couple to many times from what im usually comfortable, with so im trying to get a basis of what everyone else's cars do. I think mine might flash for maybe 5 seconds or so once i acctually start the car....is this normal?

I've never counted. If it goes off don't worry about it. If not, it just needs to be reset. It just counts mileage, has no real meaning as far as needing maintenance.

I never counted too, but it isn't that long. When it seems to blink on for longer than normal, it just means that the maintenance light is about to stay on soon.

OK OK I guess i deserve that but would you rather someone be anal retentive or just not give a crap? Besides, having the a used car just under 2 weeks you tend to notice little things.

Maybe not. We see all the time, people asking what is this "maintenance required" light all about. Even though it's asked a LOT and even though the answer is covered in every owner's manual, asking about whether the time interval of the light blinking (being longer than usual) is just a little too over the top. I'd even give a "member" a shot over that one.

ps. I'm not being mean. I'm just injecting some humour into something that really should get one of these ...............................

You're messing up my sales pitch. Last I heard cthree was looking at some engine work.

Besides, just because I said it doesn't mean it's true.

He's on his own for that one.
