Just wanted to thank everyone who contributes to this fantastic website/forum.
A bit of history on me:
I purchased a 2001 S2000 with 30k miles on it about 2 months ago (abslolutely love the car)
After getting the car, a friend of mine told me about this informative & great webite.
Since then I have been just reading the lots of the topics from the S2000 Talk section as well as some of the Street Encounters. I have gotten tons of great information as well as some interesting stories about S2000 vs other sports cars.
I can honestly say this website kicks ass. Thanks to everyone and this site I have gotten a couple things done to my car under warranty I would have never expected to. In particular a new clutch (00-054) as well as the strikers for the top.
I used to own a 2000 GTI 1.8 and boy am I glad I now drive a Honda.
Honda Service has been top notch (at least at my dealer). Service for VW is awful as well as the car itself which had tons of problems (had turbo replaced, battery replaced, windows fell, and many other electrical problems). The car must have been in the shop at least 12 times.
Maybe VW has straightened out their problems since the 2000 but I will never ever buy a VW again. Sorry to any VW owners out there.
Anyway, I finally decided to make my first post now that I am getting familar with the car and its capabilities. I am very happy to be part of this forum and its S2000 family.

Welcome to the forum! And do I envy you being in Florida with this car. Year around driving - on the other hand, I get a whopping big discount on my insurance because I garage the car three months out of the year!
