I had the same question when I bought. I'm 6' 215lbs. Best bet is to sit and get comfy, test drive if possible. You will have a tad more room in the AP2.

You can also get lower seat rails for a few hundred bucks. Or even just aftermarket seats.

[QUOTE=JLUDE,Jan 19 2010, 01:11 PM] Can't be comfortable to fit at that size.

I recall reading the car had a 400lbs weight limit for people+stuff in trunk. Keep that in mind.

I'm 6'1" and 230lbs. When I recently got back in my AP2 after having it sit for a few weeks, it really felt small. I had been driving our other cars (Pilot, CRV, Camry) so had plenty of space to stretch out. That being said, in the almost 5 years of daily driving (and a couple >500mile trips), it has felt cozy, but not cramped. It NEVER feels small inside during track days, though!

test drive one. get a feel for it. comfortable is subjective.
This is a real sport car, NOT sporty car.

It should fit snug like a glove for safety and driver control of the car while making dangerously fast turns.

5'7" and 140 lb? I'm surprised you can reach the steering wheel!

The AP2 door panels are more contoured and have bigger pockets in them, the dash wraps around smoother, and the leather over the center tunnel takes some space, but the two interiors are pretty much identical size wise.
How large of people do you think the pro Japanese race drivers are?

I already have a 110 lb weight savings advantage versus an S2000 with a 250 lb driver.

hea guys im in the market for an S, but im wondering if i will fit in one, im 6'2 and 250lbs, and also is there a difference in the ap1 and the ap2 terms of room? TIA

-Adrian-
You will fit but like everyone else said test drive one. I am 6'3" and 250 lbs. You wont have all kinds of room to spread out but with the seat properly adjusted you will fit and the steering wheel will only be a couple inches from the top of your legs but it is not uncomfortable by any means. To me it just adds to the small sport car feel.
