You can borrow the idea, I don' t mind, I borrowed this one from webestore (and bought his screen) but took it further with the motorization.

Just be sure you can find someone to do it unless you're doing it yourself. It took 45 days to come up with a final design that actually worked. If you're using the LZ800W, you'll have 8mm of space for an actuator/slide rail mechanism.

If you're just doing a manual slide, it's much easier and shouldn't take long.

My roommate is a genius at this stuff (he does car security for a living, and does a fair bit of custom side projects for his customers)... when I showed him the pictures he smacked his head and was like "you have vents there? thats perfect!" I may wait til I decide if I'm getting an '04 or not... don't want to go do all this work and realize I'm trading in.
