Default Mastergrade VCFH CF Hood

I am interested in the Mastergrade VCFH CF Hood. I really like the design of it...nice and smooth like the OEM, but eith he vents on the side. I was wondering if anyone has this hood and has any pictures and/or comments on it. How is it's durability and finish? Also, how is it's fitment? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

from the Mastergrade site

looks kinda similar to the Top Secret hood, except without the extra vents over the header.

I still prefer the straight lines of the TS hood -vs- the curves on this one. $.02

the stock hood is VERY light (aluminum). There's no appreciable wieght savings going with CF. The advantage is venting and Bling factor.

I know the stock hood is light, but there has to be some change in wieght when going to cf. I was told the stock hood may be somewhere around 16lbs? Not sure if it's \true, but I don't think the cf versio n can be 16lbs.

Well, think what you want. You askeed, and I'm telling you. The stock hood is very light aluminum. If you're getting a 100%, all CF hood, not FRP with CF, there will be a SLIGHT wieght difference...maybe a ound or two.

I remember someone in Australia (KIDS2000?) had a CF hood and when he got into a fender bender, it actually retained shape!

The actual fiber is light but the resin is not, I felt no difference in the weight of my J's or my stock hood!
