Default Mastergrage fenders with 19" wheels?!?

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has put the mastergrade fenders on their S with 19" wheels?

I'm going to purchase my mastergrades next week, I know there made of really strong marine fiberglass but will a set of 19's just rip them apart? I also will be putting on TEIN RS coilovers so hopefully that will help.

I need some input before I go out and get myself a set of rims I love and then end up having to get rid of them!

PS - Yes, I know 19" are not the best or most practicle wheel size to use, but i love the big wheel look!

Damn, those fenders are soo HOT!!!

I can't believe more people don't have them. The first time I saw them on the MasterGrade website I fell in love.

Now, how is the fit and finish? Did they mate up well? Can a person change the fenders himself or is this strictly a body shop job?

Do you remember if they come painted or must be painted?

Anyway, sorry for all the questions. DaaaaaMMMMMNN, those are sweet!

Fit on mine was a little off due to the fact they sent me prototype fenders, from what I hear now they have changed material and Fiberglass makers.

I would rather let a body shop do all the work, they will have to be painted as well

First, it doesn't matter WHAT size the tires are or what material the fenders are made out of (except steel)....if they rub, the fender is going to be shredded/cracked.

Second, MG has had some really bad press lately (and for good reason) about their product quality AND service. Good luck actually getting a product, and if it does show up eventually, good luck with fitment.

Yeah, I know about the mastergrade do's and don'ts. It's pretty hard to miss it these days, but to be safe i'm actually going to go there and get all the stuff i want so there will be no shipping. I hope that should solve a few of the mastergrade problems, but honestly, i love these fenders so much it's worth it to deal with the mastergrade headaches, if there is any.

Timsk2, very nice ride! thanks for the pics, it will be 19's for me all the way too!

If any of you guys havent been to the mastergrade web site you should check out the sidemakers inserts they have for these fenders now. I dont know how long they have been out for but i havent seen any pic on this site with them on anyones car.
