Thanks fellas... I fell in love with this car and wanted a new one my senior year of high school in 1999... By the time I got done with professional school and finally had some money, Honda stopped making them. This was as close to a new s2k I would ever get and I knew it. And finding it at the price I did was a once in a lifetime deal. I had to have it for myself!

considering the car sold new for $32,000 before taxes then this is a loss after sitting on the car for 15 years and not driving it. prices have been holding steady for the last several years but you aren't going to make a boat load of cash on one of these.

Maybe true but in 20 years, 60k will be worth 30k in today's price. There's really no benefit to owning one of these unless you drive and enjoy it.

Honda made just shy of 37k Ap1's, and this particular one has the most common color combo, so nothing remarkable except it's low mileage. And there are far lower mileage, more desirable Honda models out there if collectability is an issue.

We are talking about an S2K here, not some rare Ferrari that will fetch a few million. Giving space in the garage and not to mention all the maintenance to keep it fresh over that time. No thanks. I can think of better ways to not earn any return on my money.

30K is not that much for a car these days, especially a "new" S2000. Somebody will be very happy with this!

Agreed..... not a rare Ferrari...... But a low mileage S2000 like this 20 years from now will fetch a lot more than this one did in 2016..... MOST S2000 will be destroyed and are being so daily by young kids trashing these cars.... This was a very "SPECIAL" car when it was introduced..... and is still viewed with deference by people who "know cars".

If this car is preserved with under 1000K miles, someone will pay double in 20 years.....
