Default Maybe Muz knows?

Having just returned from Europe I am reminded that cars there have two settings (in each direction) for the turn signal indicator.
One setting allows that the blinker goes for a few seconds and the other allows it to signal until a turn is complete.
That first setting is used to change lanes and in round-abouts.
It seems we could use this set-up here.
Wondering if anyone knows (Muz?) if part is available and is this doable for us folks in the USA.

Are you too lazy to hold down the blinker for 2 seconds then put it back to off?

Why as a matter of fact I am.
No really it's a very cool feature that allows you to continue to drive without having to remove your hand (or fingers) from the wheel when all you have done is changed lanes and I don't know about you but that happens rather often here in the big city.
