a few people use the classic carriers on their car. the load limit is 75lbs. heck.. I even sell these. haven't had an s2000 owner want one yet, but they are popular among other makes.

Gaawd, I think you guys are missing the point. It's not like a permanent attachment or something! Consider the possibility that the S is some people's ONLY car and they need to carry something that doesn't fit in the trunk. The thing isn't supposed to look pretty, its a temporary utility attachment. Geez...
