Maybe too early but question on 04's
i really hate to do this but i've saved up a fairly large amount for a down payment on a s2000 (finally!) but i have a different problem now. Honda changes or redesigns all of their cars every 4 years (excluding nsx). 03 would be the s2000's 4th year. So in essence my question is will the s2000 be getting a new look or is the s2000 gonna be like the nsx and go on for a while without redesign?

My take (from working with Honda parts) is some are marked when they're made on a grid layout with dots marking the month. 99-03 is on there. That's 5 model years so my guess is if a remodeling is done it would be an 05 model.

Our newspaper here had a recent article about what is in store for the future of all makes of cars. These were anticipated changes as indicated to them by the manufacturer.
The Civic will get a sportier face lift in 2005/2006. It will have better suspension, better handling, and a little more power.
The S2000 will remain unchanged until MY 2005, when it is expected to get "somewhat" a new look and more HP.

Over here in the UK, magazine had "new cars on the way " feature. Said that Honda had given Mugen a free reign on the S2 and had given it more BHP and aggresive styling. The photos of it looked really good. Honda UK, said no real plans for a launch, but said would probably be for US market where the Mugen badge is used.
dctrpark, take you money to the Honda dealer and buy a 2002 or 2003. Drive it and enjoy it. When Honda finally makes a major change to the S, and you like the new one better, then trade in the old and get a new. I see no sense in waiting, hoping to figure out what Honda will do. Airgate is so completely right it is just not funny!
