The best tool to take off the Silencer is the hook tool with the Flat Head on the other end in the trunk... With the Flat Head use it on the middle part of the silencer that comes out and rounds back down. Give it a few pulls on all sides, then wiggle that silencer out.

I also had a hard time getting the silencer out, like someone said, get a couple of flat heads and a towel and just pry it out from the middle section.
HOWEVER I think im gonna put my stock cat back on, its just way to loud with my test pipe. Am I going to be losing a good amount of whp going back? Im running it with the silencer for now and its fine..

tonight we just installed my megan on my friends ap1, and its got a dc header and a stock cat, and the car is as loud as mine was with the testpipe, so its not worth to put the cat back on.

alright my exhaust is on and i love it

mine is only cat back so no test pipe and it's loud
i dunno how some of u guys are running this with a testpipe lol

slight drone in the 4000-5000 rpm range but not bad at all

strangely with this exhaust, at cruising speeds it is very quiet

very very deep exhaust, absolutely no rice or raspiness (due to my relief)

i haven't tried running it with a silencer yet, i'll do it later this week but i've heard it sounds pretty good with the silencer albeit quiet
I just got my Megan Racing Single a couple days ago. Very happy with it, a little loud, but oh well. Can't complain, I paid $360 for it! Got it from promotiontuning.com (local place from me)
Hoping to get the T.P here in a week or two.

take out the silencer and theres 2 tabs on the bottom... grind it down a little just so it goes in there and sits firm but not tight...mines grinded down so it sits firm without bolts
