The countdown continues.... This is an honor to have in S2ki, I think one of the sickest projects this boards have seen.

It sucks Im so busy most of the times and I know jack about putting a car together, well let me know so I could install the little pine fragance in the mirror when its all done. At least I could say I I had to do with such a beautiful project.

Baller rearview and fuse box!

you really shouldn't rest the car on a cooler. They make jack stands for such things

Coming along very nicely.

Don't go w/ those figures, i believe they're inacurate. don't think the wing can produce 1000lbs. of downforce.
Until I have reason to believe otherwise, I'll believe the CFD analysis I have which says that at 15 degrees angle of attack the wing makes...

Speed = Downforce/Drag both in lbs:

80mph = 487.852/73.328

100mph = 770.613/115.913

120mph = 1084.48/167.493

Radical SR3

Results from wind tunnel test at Mira.

Twin element wing with main wing element flat.
Bi-plane winglet @ lowest setting -1106 N = - 248.85 lbs.
Bi-plane winglet @ highest setting -1472 N = - 331.20 lbs.

These figures are @ 100mph

thats from the head engineer.

If ur rear wing produced 1000lbs. of downforce, the trunk on the miata would colapse. and with the amount of power the s2000 engine produced w/ that much downforce; ur car would be slowed horribly.
