Whats up with windsheild tape... Is it gonna be on all 2001 ones or no?

Around the windsheild "where you see yellow above in the pic" all 2000 models had it colored black no matter what color the car was. Some people on this board talked about it and removed theirs but it wasn't easy.

Man! The more I see of that yellow, the more I wonder if silver is the right choice.

I personally don't care for the tape removed.
I think it makes the car look taller, less mean, and more miata like.

Now the yellow is a different story.....
