I just called them (hence the request for the 800 number )and they're sending the new ones. Not too difficult

Opps... Just re-read your post. No I haven't sent the old ones back. Sorry for the confusion. They didn't ask for the old ones back though.

We've got replacement brackets in stock. Just give us a call at 916-933-1080 and we'll get a pair on their way to you.

I'd like to publicly thank Comptech for their prompt handling of this issue.

In my case, they went all the way to shipping the new brackets to Portugal on their expense (although I purchased them in the states) and without requesting the old ones back.

This is the kind of service that generates customer loyality.

I got my replacement brackets yesterday and put them on last night... They fit perfect.

Thanks BTW mike! Comptech gets a big thumb up for being quick and responsive to fix their mistake!

I called Mike this afternoon and got my brackets ordered. I look forward to them. My STB fit *almost* perfectly. It makes a little indention in the under-hood insulation...

Thanks Mike!

I absolutely agree LUIS. I've had all sorts of problems with dealers/companies lately, and it's refreshing to deal with a company that actually gives a %$#& about customer service. I will be very comfortable dealing with them in the future, and more importantly, referring business to them.

Kudos to Comptech.
