im about to buy a s2k with 107,000 miles. it has a gt35r installed at 85k miles. is the car is good shape, assuming that he didn't beat the car. like is the milage a big factor with the s2k? and how much longer will the engine last? any comments about this are well appreciated, thanks.

 

How many owners has the car had?
How was maint. performed by each owner?
Is the turbo installed properly or is it a hack job?
Who tuned it?
How was it driven?
Are you prepaired to deal with it if something goes wrong?
Is it a toy, or your only transportation?
You get the idea...

There are many high mileage S's out there but I would want to know this cars entire history intimately

 

If its had multiple owners, walk away with that kind of milage.

 

I would walk away from this one.

you should take it for the worst case scenario..that he did beat on it and that it was a lowsy turbo set up etc etc.. then see if you want to buy the car cuz most likely people drive these cars hard

you need the entire history..
