I know this is a little late, and some people may have all ready posted their impressions of it but here are mine. I picked mine up about two or three weeks ago and have been testing it that whole time. All I can say is WOW. The single best handleing improvement i think you can buy. I don't really know how to put this to words how good of an investment this is. As far as the spoon one, it seems to handle the same. It is a little bit heavier as Mingster has said but its nothing noticable. Not having driven a Stook with a spoon brace, but riding in one, it feels the same. To give a example of how much more the car sticks to the ground(yes our car can have improved handling) there is a corner by my house that i usually take at about 35-40, after installing this brace i have noticed that i can take it about 3-7 mph faster now. Once again this is a highly recommended item to pick up from Mingster.

I think you have it backwards: Mingster's is heavier (and is supposed to be stiffer), the Spoon version is lighter.

Indeed, mine weighs about 3.5 pounds more because it uses a thicker gauge steel tubing and it's significantly larger (wider). When I can afford to cut open a Spoon X brace I'll show ya. Thank you Tanqueray.

I think Elements was trying to say that Mingster's is heavier...reread it again...just poor timing since the last sentence dealt with the Spoon brace.

I've been "testing" mine the past couple of weeks and I'm QUITE satisfied...the potholes around here have gone from canyon to drainage ditch in perceived size (of course, I still try to avoid them). I haven't had the opportunity to fully test it at speed with some twisties, but maybe one of our NE meets this weekend will present one. I'm very particular about what mods I do to Michelle, and I must say I wasn't too sure about this one. That's all changed now that I've had the opportunity to play with it...my money was well spent for this.

Thanks Rich!

If eating one burrito makes you fulfilled, does eating one and a half burritos make you more fulfilled, or just extremely full?

It does not stiffen the chassis as much as it stiffens the suspension mounting points. But nevertheless, the effect is inspired driver confidence because of better feedback.
