Mis-shifting
Just a tip I guess:
I find myself frequently ending up in first from the 2-3 shift, only when I hit the limiter. ( This is frequent on a 350 rwhp SC'ed S2000 )
Luckily, I can tell something's up with how the gear goes in, and I don't release the clutch.
Anyways, if you hit the limiter, be a little more careful on your shift. The violent stoppage in forward motion causes the stick to go places you normally wouldn't put it.

That's very odd, I find it extremely difficult to go back to 1st gear without proper rev-matching from 7MPH +. Personally, I'd be more concerned about missing the 4th gear shift by accidentally putting it into 2nd like many have done before. Either way, good tip
Ive had the 3rd to second problem where the shift doesnt feel right so i dont let the clutch out, my question is has anyone notice if you have been driving spirited and miss the shift and then put it back into nuetral how the tranny feels wierd? is this from heat or what?? i shifted into nuetral and tried to go back into fourth but it felt a little wierd so i went into 6th instead....
I only had a few times where i shifted from 2nd to 5th and look like i lost all power.
And car bogged a bit till i shifted out of 5th.
Happens mostly when i am making sharp turns and shifting, I just i just want to make sure i don't hit first.

I find something extremely odd about this post. If you are hitting the rev limiter in second gear and are preparing to shift into 3rd, the 1st gear blocker ring will prevent going into 1st by accident. If you are indeed actually able to go into 1st gear with the stated scenario, something in the tranny is broken.
Hyper, as I said above, if the engine is already at redline, it will be impossible to rev-match any higher to get into 1st. I can only imagine that in 2nd gear redline, 1st gear would be spinning at nearly 14,000 rpm. If you had a 15,000 rpm redline, then you could do it.

putting the gear shifter in 1st is very hard to do once you're past "rolling" speeds(~7mph+) i believe there is some sort of gear lockout to prevent one to easily select 1st gear while in motion(the only way i can put it in 1st is if i rev match).
