Default Mmmmmmmmmmmm Tint.... Much better

A few pictures.

Llumar Film 15%. Cheap static cling tint on the back exterior as per xviper's suggestion (20%).

Note: The ripples were already in the plastic window.

Here in Florida, I got Llumar Star 20% on side and back windows with 50% on windshield. Looks cool and keeps it cool inside as well.

I know this is a really stupid question, but....

What methods are there for applying aftermarket tint to glass? Is it all film, or are there any other options? How is factory tinting accomplished?

I always see people with piss-poor tinting where there is more area that's bubbled than actually stuck to the glass. I always thought that that's what happens to film tinting, but I suppose it depends on the quality of the job.

I'm sorry for the dumb questions, but I've never had any tinting done. However, I do like the look.

should have gone darker ......I have 5% on sides and rear, nice and private. Maybe one day I'll go ahead and get the windshield tinted but I figured I was stretching the law enough as it was. (I doubt that's legal anywhere)

and yes, bubbles are all a function of the quality of the initial install. I've had numerous tint jobs that lasted for years with no problems.
