This was my first time doing an oil change, and I wanted to make sure I got the correct type of Mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30 oil. I believe when shopping around, I've seen 3 types of Mobil 1 10w-30 oil. They have the following...

A regular quart of Mobil 1 10W-30 Full Synthetic oil.

One that is Mobil 1 10W-30 Full Synthetic Oil for engines that are 75,000 miles +

And one that is Mobil 1 10W-30 Extended Protection up to 15,000 miles before an oil change.


I went with the regular one....Is there a difference between these 3? The price difference isn't by much just a few cents to a few dollars difference between the 3. But in the end, are they all the same product? Can you mix and match between the 3?

I know it's kind of a noobish question, but being my first time doing this, I wanted to make sure I got the correct oil and everything.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

just use the regular M1 10w30.

 

yeah use the regular mobil 1 full syn, cus the extended one, the filter wont last.
