My buddy has a white mkiv supra. It is a great car and is really fun to drive. Me from a personal standpoint would take the s over the supra. Not because i dont like the supra, in fact i love them, but more because i want a real convertible instead of a targa top. If you can get the money together though for the supra and the s i would say go for that.

Depends on what you're looking for in a car. On the track, the supra's really aren't that great. Sure thay have/can have amazing power but, in the corners they pretty much sucked. I forced two turbo MkIV's to consistently let me pass while driving my Civic at VIR. Sure, in a straight line they'd crush me but, once the corners started, they were gone.

Supra's just another old car too.

I'd say super or turbo charge the S. The supra can put down lots of power, but it is a bit of a dyno queen. It makes tons of power but it isnt as usable as a turbo'd S.

Well with the supra depends on the mods you make. If you have the money to blow you can make quite a formidable car. All it takes is money. My 95 neon has a good chuck of change in it and on 11psi it's running upper 12's with slicks and very low 13's on the street. Then on 18 psi I'm pushing around 350 bhp to the wheels and running a 12.2 on the track all day long mid 12's on the street. Just takes money to make anything fast. Hell my neon acut out handles my S due to the racing suspension that's in it. Again though I would say real estate that

Hmmm... tough decision, but I don't think that there is anyway that you can import the last generation Supra for 8k for a TT manual car. So I say to mod the S.

If you want a faster car, buy a faster car. Engine modding will give you headaches and may even hurt your pocketbook more than purchasing something this is already quicker.
