Building my enternals with the stock block and head what pistons should i go with. I also dont want to bore the block out that much b/c ive heard that alot of ppl have had there sleeves cracked. I am also willing to change up the some of the valves and springs. I want to at least get 300hp out of theses mods + port and polishing the exhaust manifold and intake. what do u guys think. Im in the budget of less than 2k.

Not happening this lifetime. You also will be hard pressed to find pistons that have proper silicon levels to work with the FRM sleeves.

300hp as in N/A or with boost? No one has reached 300whp yet from my knowledge...close very close but not 300whp and it was a whole lot more than $2k. It didn't do it with JDM parts either.

Ha! That'll be enough to get you an EMS and tune it, and maybe an air intake. You're looking at 15-20 thousand dollars to get to 300 rwhp with an NA setup.

Well... you could always buy an LS1 for a grand and try and get someone to fab some crazy motor mounts to fit the thing in. You'll probably get a good pull or two on the dyno before your rear axles snap

Or, you could get a used Vortech supercharger for 3k and have over 300 rwhp.

As said earlier, save a couple more grand and get a super charger setup. Cheapest power adder. Well, that or you can spend around 1k and get a pretty nice nitrous setup that'll push you to 300whp.

and don't forget to make vids and post them here.

$2,000 is not enough sorry. You'll prolly get +15whp for $2000.
