After taking off my bumper cover I have found that where the Comptech SC filter box draws its air from is not a free flowing source of cold air... I have paid for my SC kit and hopefully expect it in aq couple of weeks...

My plans for cold intake for the SC are under way: I have 2 6' 3 1/2" OD Aluminum tubes coming that will be bent to make dual K&N filtered intakes that will obtain cold air from our "faux" front inlets (obviously cut out). The aluminum pipes will go from their cavities to the engine compartment via a small under-car bend. The two inlets will go to a Y and then right into the main black SC air inlet. All aluminum pipe that resides in the engine compartment will be heavily wrapped with Thermotec tape insulation...

I just want to provide the most abundant cold air supply I can. Plus putting the intake tubes in the front would make for a nice sound... When I am done, I will DEFINITELY post pictures...

Pancho,

You can e-mail me at mbibinoff@comptechusa.com. We do have a distributor in Switzerland who has a s/c kit on order with us, but it is liable to be at least a month before it ships out to him.

Going back to Pancho's question.

Most of the mods currently done by board members are a nice compliment to a Supercharger.

I would go with the ProFlow Throttle Body, an exhaust system (Mugen, HKS, Newspeed, Comptech, etc), Mugen Thermostat and radiator cap, light flywheel, Colder plugs like the Denso IK27 Iridium's and definetly a better clutch/pressure plate.

If you want more you could do an Extrude Hone intake manifold and header. Don't do any ECU upgrade since none are optimize for the SC and the kit, from what I have heard, comes with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that also raises the fuel pressure under boost.

You may also want to seriously consider better brakes and a few suspension mods.
