Default Moonrock S2000, Needle in a Haystack

Hi All,

Years ago...being a longtime lover or racing and sports cars, I purchased a 2006 s2000. Living in Canada it took quite some time to find the perfect car. After owning the car for over 4 years I finally realized it is Moonrock Metallic! I only realized last year that there were only something like 140 s2000's sold in 2006 in canada.

Is there any way to find out how many Moonrock s2000's were sold in canada in 2006?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

All MY 06 sold in Canada were Moonrock.

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/110...#entry23365192

and there were 146 of them sold.

Towards the end of the this wiki post you find production in each country by year.

There's one for sale right now in Ontario near Ottawa I believe. They are ultra rare! You are lucky to have one.

OP, I'm super jealous. I LOVE Moonrock! I looked a long time for one, but was unsuccessful.

Thanks Adrenalize,

That's exactly what I meant. That Moonrock was only available in 2006.

DaGou, Thanks for the response.. One of my first posts ever, so I appreciate your patience.

I was looking at the wiki article before I posted the thread, so i knew that there were other colors sold in Canada for 2006.

A member by the name of platinum composed a thread back in 2009 with production numbers based on car color and interior color, If the same thing was done for Canada I would sure like to see those numbers

^I'd like to see those numbers for Canada as well. No such list exists unfortunately, the best bet would be to email Honda Canada.

No need to be an ass. If we all just used Google we wouldn't have much need of an owner's community, would we? You get a lot of extra insight from owners vs random search results.

OP says "DaGou, Thanks for the response.. One of my first posts ever, so I appreciate your patience." I did find him two pretty nice links and he appreciates it. Just suggested he might try a google search and then with the information he finds he could share it with the owner's community. You guys are way to sensitive. I did not call the OP names or suggest anything negative about him. So to the rest of you;

Do want some cheese to go with the ?
