Default More Dyno Day Blues

We did another 4-5 S2k`s at my event this weekend. Most lost power, or made nearly stock power with various mods. One did 175 with hot-air intake, insert name here____ ceramic header, VAFC, and single exhaust. Fidling w/ the VAFC might have helped a bit, but it was obvious that the intake and header were power robbing show pieces . Like I said before, the best mod I`ve seen was a $50 drop in filter.

Spend your money wisely!

Ryan

That sucks... the more and more I read... Sounds like tuners are more so, building parts to just FIT... and not to be functional. Was it the Neuspeed exhaust that killed someones power?

I hope in the coming months we see some of the more serious tuners working on parts, i.e. Hytech, SMS... for the S2000.

Wow, that sucks Ryan! Did anybody get over 201? It's amazing how many people have bought mods without any quantification of their usefulness...

175!!! that's pretty low.

On the dyno, what are the stock numbers that you are getting?? Is it in the 190 - 200 range???
