Default More power after 5000 miles is true, dyno

Ok, so I went back and got my car dyno'd again... and it does make more power now... same dyno, temp is pretty much the same both times, and same time of day... and both times dyno was in 4th gear.

First time at alittle after 3000 miles, best peak was 194.9hp, 130.9 lb-ft with a low of 189.7hp and 128.8 lb-ft.

Today at about 5900 miles, best peak was 201.0hp, 134.2 lb-ft with a low of 199.6hp 134.1 lb-ft.

It wasn't just the peak that gained, looked like across all the way...

Wow! 6 horses and 3 lb/ft torque. Now there seems to be proof to the rumour of more power with increased mileage. Makes me wanna drive another 2k miles right now

That's cool Shing. Looks like we have proof now that the car actually does get stronger as it ages. No more butt dyno, we have real dyno.

Any comment on ambient conditions during the two runs (temp, humidity)? I assume both times the car was allowed to sit the same length of time in the bay?

Do you really have no power mods?!

I can attest to my car getting stronger over time too...at 1500 miles, no chirping. 3000, I had to shift at redline to chirp. At 4k, when I shift at around 8500, I can still chirp easily. Cool dyno though, now it's a proven fact!

Since all mods cost money, I'll be glad to help out with anyone willing to pay me to drive their car. For the right dollar amount, I'll make your car feel stronger by putting on a few extra 1000 miles. Check out my S2k if you need a reference. I've put 5,000 miles on my car 6 times over within the last 11 months.

This is of course for those people who don't have the option to put that many miles on their car within a short amount of time. This is a WIN WIN situtation where I get to drive a S2k every day and help some of my fellow S2kers out.

PM me if you need my services.
