did you see the dyno that guy had on his probe? i would not expect to see that kind of power from a POS probe.

Geess, any Kill-Story from Charlotte, Nc is worth it's weight in crap.
Here's a quick example of Charlotte Street Racing.
I'm driving with the wife having an argument in the car. CarX pulls along side reving. I ignore as A) the wife is in the car B) we're arguing C) it was a stupid place to race.
Anyway, CarX flys by a few seconds later only to drop back a minute later. Then he starts tailing me.
I ignore again, but merge off the interstate on the way home. Stop at the next gas station. Driver of CarX pulls into the gas station, gets out of the car and starts yelling & whooping it up about how he just 'Kicked my A$$'.
So that's Charlotte racing for you......your racing even when your unaware.

Ps: Besides, no one in their right mind would race in the area the Probe poster describes.....very heavy police activity...always

This thread should be in Street Encounters

Having said that, where are these freaks who put FI and NOS in a POS Probe?

I didn't even know you could get a Probe with a manual transmission. I thought they were Auto Grocery Getters only...

what is going on? I am so confused right now! Is this thread for real? Does this idiot actually think he can beat an S2000 with a Porbe? Just shows what jelousy can do to a man.

P.S. If you read there sigs you will notice they all have cars under 5k...haha what ricer wannabes!

Plus i dont think the S2000 knew he was even in a race...he was just minding his own business while the Probe floored it....IF it even happened!

You guys need to review your old car mags. The Probe GT was pretty fast. When they were in production, there wasn't any Honda model that would beat it in a drag race. The GT was available with a manual transmission, and a pretty impressive V6.

Umm, no. The Integra GS-R was a dead match for the GT, and would pull at higher speeds. The Prelude VTEC would crush the GT.

Any car can be made fast and its not inconceivable that a turbo Probe with mods could pull an S2000. I did get a kick out of the "our rods look bigger than your rods, so our bottom end is stronger" post. Too much to go into on that one.
