The sky was crystal blue. I pushed the start button, warmed her up for a few minutes and got on Hwy 395, through Reno, heading south. Ten miles along, I merged with the Mt. Rose highway and the fun began as I headed up to Lake Tahoe! Twisties, straights, the Beatles and Lenny Kravitz were blaring. There's nothing like a twisty mountain road in this car! It was like riding on Space Mountain at Disneyland. I was on a rail!
Just a beautiful day. This car was the best purchase I've ever made. The joy it brings me is hard to describe. I'm sure that many of you know exactly what I'm saying.
And Spring hasn't even arrived!
Pure joy.

It was in the 50's yesterday, Brad and I went out tooling around town, man, I was depressed when I put Scarlet back in her little house...

Soon, she will rise again!

My efforts to take the red rocket for lunch today were thwarted by a last minute meeting.
No excuses tomorrow, as it will be even more spring-like.

Know the highway well! Forming a visual and say thanks......If you see an Anthracite Diablo on the road that would be my step dad (75 acts like 30) so you may get blasted. But next weekend he's coming to Ogden to take the Stook up to the winding roads of the future home of the 2002 Olympics.

P.S. Know where Greensburg Circle is......home of the 6.0.

Dave,
I wish that I knew that you were headed out. I went the opposit direction. I headed left and went up to Virginia
City. Then down the truck route,,, and then up,,, Just As Fast As I Could. (That is the place where they hold the VC HILL CLIMB.
Dave

(Hey Utah,,, there is a yellow one right down the street from your step dad. Tell him to keep his eyes open)

Sure do know exactly what you mean. Makes you laugh out loud just from the pure joy of it. At least when you are by yourself. (I have found that spontaneous maniacal laughter sometimes unsettles passengers. Go figure.)

Having a particularly stressful work week after being on the mainland for a couple of weeks, but had to drive around to different clients today for meetings, and....WOW!!! Talk about taking you away from it all!!!

Cruising along the ocean with the sun on your body and the wind in your hair in this beautiful machine definitely takes you out of your everyday stress and transports you to the land of driving euphoria!!! (And yes, it IS laugh out loud fun!)
