Default the most powerful S2000

I was wondering how far the limits of the f20 or the f22 have been pushed.

The 2jz comunity had a guy named Marko who had a 1600+whp full weight supra which ran in the 8's so does the S community have some one simalar? I know its not even close to that kind of power but im sure its still an insane number.

the most i can think of off the top of my head is 520 something to the wheels. i remember that one because it was on a stock block, but i cant remember the name of the tuner for the life of me.

i have heard of people making more, but i dont remember any specific numbers.

sorry that didnt really answer your question. if you are curious about potential, there are b series guys making over 1000 whp with similar or less displacement. the f20 is just as capable. now keep in mind we are talking about 78mm turbos and whatnot, but still, they did it.

as far as that supra you mentioned, i am slightly skeptical. not that i dont think its possible, i just have never heard of a chassis dyno that can display that kind of power. also there are numerous pros that dont even aim for that kind of power. do you have a link by any chance?

if you look in the lastest Modified magazine(the one with the candy orange s2k on the front cover), the kid who owns it is pushing just a little over 600hp. i'm not 100% sure if that's to the crank or the the flywheel. either way, it's pretty damn powerful. oh yeah, and the kid who owns it is only 19yrs old.

1500 isn't a hell of a lot for a chassis dyno to take. Over 2500 is where things start to fall apart. The Supra is legit (verified by many people).

The problem with those drag cars is that very little remaining is the actual car itself. Most of the time it's just a shell of the car, not very driveable. I've seen 8 sec supras, skylines, rx-7s, etc. None of them have much of the original car left.

Whereas, I've heard from others on this forum that the 650whp orange s2000 is driveable for daily use (correct me if I'm wrong). How reliable and how long, well that's another topic.

Added:

By "full weight", do you mean that it's a regular car (not drag car)? If it is, then disregard my comment...my BAD!

I would think once you start putting 300+ HP to the RW, you are going to have more than enough to run to the supermarket and mall.

But what if you wanted to get there in 8 sec. 300whp would definitely not be enough.
