Funny thing is is that there are still lots of expensive cars down here. Tons of 3 series BMWs. BMW just sold a set of Diesel 3 series that were used for transportation for the Cricket World Cup held here recently. Average price was around $80000.00 US and they sold like hot cakes :-)

Israel, $37,000+ 100% vehicle tax = $74K
I am wondering if you pay over 100% on tax on vehicles do you still have to pay an annual registration fee?

I personally don't think you'd want to drive an s2k in any of these ridiculously priced countries anyways. Except Canada

china where? and what do you mean by "make them?? everyone import S2k,

because they only build them in japan, even us.

there's alot of s2k in hk, well not alot but they do have s2k, those S2k in hong

kong, china is rhd btw

the import tax is 110% in hong kong, the good thing is, you only pay tax on new

car, not second hand.

in mainland it's a total different story, i mean you can get it import tax free if you know how. dont ask.
dude, hong kong it's same as japan, but not China, China it's LHD just like US..

i went back to my coutry 2 years ago, and just try to play with a Honda dealer in the area, so the dealer guy inside knows about s2000, but he says , they don't have in stock, they have to import one from US, and it cost 3x the US price.
