meh. theres two s2k's around my house that are nicer than mine. when those start getting stolen ill be worried

plus i park in a garage. they park outside.

I won't dissagree with what appears to be factual info but in my time here at s2ki I can only recall one post describing a theft of the entire car and that theft was determuned to be a haul-away. I could have easily missed other posts though describing thefts. Still, #9 on the list seems high to me.

Because that list isn't a TOTAL number of thefts. It's based on percentage of thefts per manufactured number of units of each car.

EDIT: LOL @ the fact that most of those cars are "baller vehicles" Escalade, Yukon, Hummer H2, 7 series BMW.

They calculated the rates based on numbers of cars stolen per 1000 vehicles on the road. So for example if there are 10,000 S2ks on the road and 60 are stolen then that's 6/1000. It there are 10,000,000 pickups on the road and 10,000 are stolen that's 1/1000, and the S2k is 300% more likely to be jacked than the pickup, even though more trucks were stolen that year than S2ks.
