motorcycle vs s2k
just learned to ride a motorcycle yesterday and had to compare the experience with driving the S.
in short, while the bike is amazingly fast and mobile, i was surprised how much more fun it was to use the stick shift in the car over the manual controls of the bike. i'm sure that many will disagree, so it's just imo. it was irritating to shift through the gears with my foot in a sequential pattern vs grabbing the stick
plus, the S just felt better when cornering.
but man, sport bike equals death for me. amazing more people don't get hurt riding.

the sequential shifting on a bike, while fun in it's own right, will never replace the fun of a beautiful crafted short-throw gearbox such as ours, IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love riding too, but if I had to choose between riding and a great sports car, I would hafta take the sports car.
And yea....our car will corner better than any bike. 4 tires>2 tires for cornering, especially on a chassis and suspension like ours, but I think the exit speed will be a bit better on a bike.

I just drove the entire way home from a friends without even hitting vtec just so I could shift more often. It was so much fun. I love the feel of the gear box in the S.
While you were learning how to ride a bike, I hit up the canyons yesterday.
The people who showed up at the top of Stunt would've probably had interesting views on this conversation, as there were some exotic machines of the two and four wheel variety. Would've been good to see you there
